Hannah Schloman is a 21-year-old, Aussie Artist singer / songwriter / musician based in Brisbane know as the pseudonym HANNI. HANNI music style could be described as alternative pop and she gathers influence from Artist such as Sasha Sloan and Olivia O’Brien.
HANNI has always had a passion for music, whether it was playing trumpet in the primary school band, singing in choir, teaching herself guitar and piano or just harmonizing to the radio. Hannah figured out at a young age that music was what made her happy and that she wanted to pursue a career that related to music.
HANNI’s refreshing take on pop, evolving production style and natural sense of melody highlights the potential within this blooming artist, drawn comparisons to the likes of BENEE, Clairo and Grace. Her ability to write catchy lyrics reflecting contemporary, meaningful concepts has captivated her fans who are drawn to her innate sensibility and authenticity.
HANNI released her first single ‘WIRED’, which was uploaded on Triple J Unearthed in July 2019 and then on streaming platforms in August of 2019. 'Wired' her debut single when on to land HANNI on the 2019 Triple J Unearthed High Yearbook Fashion and won her a Queensland Music Award QMA, in 2020.
In 2020 she went on to release singles 'Crazy', 'If All I Ever Did' and ‘Golden Eyes’. 'Golden Eyes' captured a global audience with over 4.5 million plays on Spotify alone, landing on BBC Sound 'The Best New Pop of October 2020' playlist.
2021 seen her release only one single 'Talking to Myself in the Mirror' before signing with Dew Process - Universal Music Australia, late 2021.
HANNI kicked off 2022 with her first single and music video following her signing, 'Undermine' followed by her latest single 'See Through' which gained full rotation on Triple J, and landed on the Top 200 Shazamed songs of Australia.
2022 also come with a number of career highlights for HANNI, including play Bigsound Music Festival and the Secrets Sounds Flood Aid event at Fortitude Valley Music Hall.
HANNI was honored to join the line up of outstanding Australian artists including Bernard Fanning, The Rubens, Cub Sport, Last Dinosaurs, and Stevan for the Flood Aid event which had a goal of raising 1 million dollars for those affected by the 2022 Queensland and New South Wales.
2023 stated with a bang as HANNI seen in the new year playing at the renowned Falls Festival in Byron Bay, followed by being listed in Moshtix '5 Aussie And Kiwi Acts That Should Be On Your Radar in 2023'.
For the most part of January HANNI has been in the studio collaborating with on her latest body of work.
HANNI has released, I WOULD which featured on Channel 7's Home & Away season final trailer and is the first single of her debut EP being released early 2024, so lots of new HANNI coming your way soon.
With more live shows on the way for this flourishing artist and a multitude of tunes, HANNI is only just beginning.
